Bike and Scooter Safety
TEACHING CHILDREN TO BE SAFE AND RESPONSIBLE WHEN RIDING BIKES AND SCOOTERS
At Chesswood we motivate the children to take an active role in being eco-friendly and as part of this, we encourage pupils to choose to walk, scoot and bike to school, to help lower carbon emissions from cars.
Our curriculum seeks to reduce the risk of injury for all children on the road by building awareness of dangers; ensuring children take responsibility for their safety and building good habits ready to keep themselves, their friends and others safe.
