Introduction

Friends of Chesswood is an active group of parents & staff who meet regularly to arrange social events and raise funds for the School.  Everyone is welcome and it is an excellent way of becoming involved in school life and meet other parents.   Our primary role is fundraising to purchase additional equipment or resources to enhance the children’s educational experience and the school’s facilities.  New ideas for fundraising or social events are always welcome. 

If you are unable to attend our meetings there are other ways you can get involved, such as helping at the Fayres, Discos or other events, or preparation leading up to the various events.

All monies raised are going towards developing our outdoor play areas with a climbing wall and sensory area.   We are all subsidising the Year 6 Leaders Hoodies this year and support with smaller items of equipment throughout the school.
